 The squad has 18 members: Hannah Blanton, Lexis Price, Rachel Campbell (captain), Lannah Cash, Makayla Donnahoo, Haley Bowen, Kennedi Lindsey (captain), Mercedes Mintz, Katelin Holleman, Stephanie Norton, Alexi Stacey, Codie Smith, Katie Bryant, Shelby Spears, Shea Taylor, Gracin Watson, Taylor Finger (captain) & Haley Cannon. They are coached by Marsha Alder & Deana Watson. The girls were so excited to be Chesnee High Schools first varsity competition cheerleading squad to make it to SCHSL State Finals. SCHSL State Finals were held at the BiLo Center in Greenville, Saturday November 20th. This was an exciting and awesome experience for the girls and they look forward to coming back to State Finals again next time to battle for the title! The squad placed 9th in the state AA division.   Coach Dean Jones and his Championsthe Chesnee High School EAGLES Coach Jones was named NATIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR 2010. We at Chesnee have been so lucky to have him as our coach, but even more lucky to have him as our friend and neighbor! We all love him and will miss having him as our coach. We wish him well in his retirement. |
