We are so proud of our town! The Kop's Kids Program gave gifts, turkey dinners with all the trimmings and treat bags for 310 Children this year! Our Police Department and community volunteers worked hard to make sure that everyone that ask for help, received it! Merry Christmas To all!!.The slide shows the pictures from the Kop's Kids "Gift" day, everyone in the pictures are volunteers that helped!

The Chesnee Lions Club meet every 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at Turner's Restaurant in the back dining room. Our main mission is sight preservation - we raise money for eyeglasses; we help support Storm Eye in Charleston,SC. which is the vision research center at the Medical University of Charleston. We have a mobile unit that visits local schools and screens students for vision problems. Last Month, our mobile unit was at the Boiling Springs Intermediate School.

January 9th, 2010 we have planned a Talent Show "Chesnee's Got Talent". Anyone interested in entering the talent show should contact Danny/Janice McDowell at 461-8922. Participation entrance fee is $20 and admission is $5 at the door.It is scheduled to be at the Chesnee High School Auditorium. No age limit to enter....Under 18 has to have adult signature...Winners to receive: 1st Place is $250....Second Place is $125....and 3rd Place is $50

Our officers are President - Danny McDowell; Vice-President -Frank Moffitt; Secretary - Janice McDowell; Treasurer - Mary Randolph; Membership Chairperson - Jan Moffitt.
